This place was the bomb!! Ordered off of doordash for pickup so we drove from Seaside over. Im from the Bay and its been hard to find good Asian food in the area. This is probably the best and most authentic Thai Ive found! Got the Pad se ew, moo yang, and crispy chicken wings. Everything was well seasoned, portions were good, and even for pick up everything was piping hot! Small parking lot in the back of the restaurant and tiny little hole in the wall but those are exactly my vibes when finding authentic Thai. Service was super friendly Ill be back!
We came here for dinner around 5ish. The place is small but very colorful and the service was great. They have their own parking lot so don't need to worry about looking for parking. We got the Siam curry and steamed white rice. We also got the Pad Sa Ew and was also good. We will definitely be back.
Fantastic Thai restaurant. Best pad see ew I've have in a long long time. Very nice people running the business. :)
What is basically some old house that has been fashioned into a Thai restaurant is the location of the best Thai food I have found in the Monterey/Carmel area. My friend and I were greeted by such a kind woman, and we were invited to sit where we like. Upon seeing we had picked a table near the restroom, she guided us to a bigger and better table so that we would not be bothered as much. We had fried potstickers for an appetizer, which were good. Then came the entrees - garlic beef and combination fried rice. We ordered it spicy, and it was done perfectly. The food had just the right heat, and the other flavors were excellent! Great stuff! If you are in Monterey, make the little drive up to Marina to have a try of this place.
We were having the screaming munchies and decided to try some tine because it travels well you can eat it wherever you are hot or cold. So we decided on this restaurant and their takeout did not disappoint. I ordered the pod key mao Pokémon and my wife had the yellow curry Mongolian beef and my daughter had the pad see ew. There were no surprises here. It's pretty straightforward when you go to Thailand there's an expectation that you will taste it with slight differences, depending on what part of Thailand you're at they did not disappoint us. We all shared our entrées and they were all extremely delicious. I like that we got it to go because it was easy for us to return to it on our drive as a quick snack and then go back again later little bit further down the road. I'm sure that the portion is very wonderful, but I would have to say that it was nice to be able to have that quality of food on the road as well. We were also very happy that we chose this place. I lived in Thailand for a time and I know what the style of Thai cooking this was. I am very familiar with Issan style of the north. But the nice thing about Thai food is it's all very familiar no matter what style they're cooking it in from one part of the country to the other you will recognized. It's nuances. Very delicious.
After a long day exploring the Monterey area, we were exhausted and needed to find food. My Pop was craving Thai so a quick Yelp search led us to Siam Marina Thai Cuisine. The restaurant was smaller than expected. Cute, colorful, and Thai decor inside. Service was friendly and quick. We ended up taking our food to go. My family and I got Pad Se Ew with Tofu, Pad Kee Mao with Pork, and Kang Ka Ree with Chicken. We also got a side of Sticky Rice and two Thai Iced Teas. My tofu pad see ew hit the spot and had a slight spice to it. It was well-seasoned and had plenty of noodles and veggies. My family enjoyed their noodles and curry. I appreciate them accommodating my request to make Thai tea with coconut milk. It was super creamy and refreshing. The perfect meal after a long day! If you're a student or resident of the Marina and surrounding area, this is a solid spot for Thai food! We only drive through when we visit so I wouldn't necessarily come back but everything was good. Parking is easy with their private lot and they're located off Reindollar Ave.
Great Thai food must get the chicken curry with side rice with also with a cold Thai milk tea
We just finished a day at Carmel, and decided to come here for a quick dinner. WOW we ordered the Pad See Ew and the Mongolian beef with a side of white rice. There was NO FOOD LEFT on the plate! Absolutely delicious! I'm surprised it wasn't busy. Great service and peaceful ambiance. I'll definitely come back!
This restaurant is super cute and little. The staff is kind too. I find the decorations to be really fun. The food is okay, and it's probably the best Thai food in Marina, though I prefer the options in PG or Monterey. I recommend the soups, they are really good, but the pad Thai is kind of mediocre.
If you're a noodle lover like me and lived most of your life spoiled with Bay Area and Southern Californian Thai food, you'll find Monterey County Thai is lacking. Most places in the area overcook their noodles and lack flavor. Luckily, Siam Marina does neither. My Pad Thai has a decent chew in the noodles even when deliver to New Monterey!! And each bite was bursting with flavor! I'm glad I've finally found my go-to Thai spot; I can't wait to try the other menu items. Other items ordered: -pad kee mao: also flavorful and with noodles cooked to my liking. My main complaint is the sauce had a burnt garlic taste and was a bit heavier on the soy sauce than what I'm used to. These weren't just drunken noodles, they were hammered! -crispy chicken wings: had a good sweet chili glaze but were a bit overcooked. I can't rule out this was due to the delivery. I would try this again if I ever dine-in.
